Generous donation towards playground improvements
Katie Hunter, the outgoing Chair of the PTFA at Grove Primary School, has very generously paid towards some new playground markings.
Katie shared the following with us:
"During my time as Chair of Grove Primary PTFA, my priority was to create fun, memorable events for the children while raising muchâneeded funds to support the school. From regular school discos and bouncy castle days to Easter Egg Hunts, it has been a joy to see the children take part and enjoy themselves.
I am incredibly proud that, together, the PTFA has been able to donate digital whiteboards, library books, classroom games for wet play days, pantomime visits, gifts from Father Christmas, and most recently, the colourful playground markings. It was a privilege to be invited back to Grove to see the new markings in action and to watch the children enjoying them so much.
I have now passed the reins to the new Chair, Clare, who already has exciting plans ahead. The PTFA is in very good hands, and I am delighted to know it will continue to thrive and bring joy to the children of Grove Primary."
The children are very grateful for the new additions to the playground and they are already enjoying using the marking to inspire lots of creative fun at playtimes.
