Oral Health CHIMP assembly

On Thursday 3rd November, all children across the school participated in
an Oral Health Assembly. They watched age-appropriate videos which taught them all about how to look after their teeth including information on: why our teeth are important; how to keep them clean; what happens if they are not kept clean; and how to limit damage to our teeth through our diets.

Network Rail CHIMP assembly

On Thursday 26th November, we held a slightly different style CHIMP assembly. We recognise that our children's physical safety is very important and, as we are surround by a number of railways and railway crossings in our local area, we were keen to welcome Network Rail to deliver a very informative assembly on the dangers of railways and how to cross them safely.

Skills for Life

We teach children how to develop resilience, relationships, resourcefulness, reflectiveness and risk taking skills. Assemblies focus on exploring these skills through stories and video clips and considering how we might apply examples of others to our own lives and actions.
