24th April 2015 - School Ambassadors from Grove supporting "French for the Family" at Reydon

Early on Friday 24th April, 4 School Ambassadors were picked up from Grove early in the morning and driven up to Reydon in a VIP car to start their official duties.  In the course of the morning Abbie, Levi, Max and Tyler carried out a range of tasks which ensured the success of the event.  They:

- blew up balloons

- set up tables

- laid out the food

- handed out labels, games, feedback forms, certificates

- took part in role plays to show the audience how it was done

- played games with individuals and teams

- went round to support all learners

- ensured everybody took part

- served food and drinks

- helped pack up

The four Year 5 pupils behaved and conducted themselves immaculately throughout the morning.   They were outstanding role models for our Golden Behaviours for Learning of Collaboration, High Aspirations, Independence, Resilience, Personal Responsibility and Pride and were a real credit to our School    They were very well received by the audience and it was lovely to see that pupils and staff from the schools shared the same high standards and values.

Hopefully this event is only of taster of things to come with staff from Grove and Reydon working together to ensure that pupils from both schools share exciting new learning opportunities whilst forming long standing and meaningful friendships with their counterparts.
