Willow

Welcome to Willow class!

Year 4 and 5

On 8th June, we went to the recreated Anglo-Saxon village in West Stow as part of our 'Settlements' topic. It was a beautiful day of sunshine and we enjoyed exploring the village's buildings and the museum. The guide even demonstrated playing a lyre for us! Our teachers were proud of our behaviour and it was a great day out.

Willow and Fern had a fantastic trip to the Harry Potter Studios outside of London. We learned so much and are now very excited for our Literacy topic.

Ancient Greek Day- Wednesday 2nd September 2015

Wow! What a fabulous start to the new school year! Today the children all participated in various activities to begin our Ancient Greek topic. They learnt about the Greek number system and used their new found knowledge to complete a number trail outside on the field. In the afternoon, the children worked in groups to compete in a challenge to make The Parthenon using only paper and tape. All three classes participated and the children voted for their winners. The Willow class winners were Isabelle, Nicole and Mayci. Well done everyone!
