We've had a brilliant first day! The children have behaved fantastically and we have all been very proud of them. They enjoyed the ferry crossing and we had time for a visit to Le Touquet beach for football and a sandcastle competition. The pupils have settled well into their hotel rooms and they had a tasty dinner tonight. They will sleep well and will be ready for an exciting day of activities tomorrow.
Here are some photos from day two. We have had an action-packed day which started with a visit to the bee museum. The pupils found out many interesting facts about the bees and I'm sure they will be able to tell you lots of fascinating facts about these insects. We then took a visit to the market and purchased some food for our lunch on the beach.
This afternoon, we made our way to the aquarium in Boulogne and ended the day at a restaurant called Flunch. We are all having a lovely time and the children are an absolute pleasure to be spending time with.
Today started off with a new cultural experience with a visit to the snail farm. We were very well looked after and were given snails to try in garlic butter. We were really impressed with how many of the children tried the snails and actually enjoyed them! After this, we visited a local market and purchased cakes and bread from the patisserie. This afternoon the pupils had a fantastic time at the aqua park. Then it was back to the hotel to get dressed up for dinner and a disco, with some great dancing and singing!
