Dear Colleagues,

Thank you very much for supporting the “Lowestoft Hub French Theatre Day” for the past two years.  I am now in the process of organising this year’s event and would therefore like to invite the Year 5 and Year 6 from your school – together with their teachers – to come and join us on Monday 12th June 2017 to watch another great performance by the Onatti Theatre Group.

This year’s KS2 play is called “Shipwrecked in France”.   It tells the story of a 13 year-old boy called Tyler who is enjoying a beach holiday in France with his mum.  While playing in his inflatable dingy, he is pulled out to sea and eventually shipwrecked miles away from his initial destination.  Tyler's march back along the coastline turns into a mini adventure as he encounters a number of eccentric French locals on his way!  Two things are certain; Mum is going to be very angry when he eventually gets home.   She might forgive him though once she realises how much his French has improved in the process!

As usual, an outstanding Onatti production full of laughs and great French language too!  More details can be found on the company’s website at http://www.onatti.co.uk/

I have approached Gary Peile at the Active Learning Trust who has kindly agreed to subsidise half of the performance cost.

Thank you in advance for your kind cooperation and looking forward to welcoming in excess of 300 pupils and staff from the “Lowestoft Hub” to Grove Primary on Monday 12th June 2017.
