Eaton Vale Day Three

Eaton Vale Day Three 1 All of the group on our final day!

The children all had a great night's sleep last night and enjoyed their final two activities. The children's behaviour has been fantastic and they should be really proud of their achievements. Well done everyone!

Tuesday 17th June

Day Two has again been a fantastic day, which started off well with a tasty bacon roll for breakfast! The sun has been shining (again!) and the children have been engaged in a whole range of activities, including: High All Aboard, Raft Building, Mountain Biking, Team Building and Indoor climbing. The children have been collaborating and showing real determination and resilience , especially in Raft Building.  For dinner we had sausages and mash, followed by strawberry jelly and ice-cream.  The evening  will be finished off with a whole group camp fire, toasting marshmallows, before a well-needed full night's sleep.  We still have two more activities to complete tomorrow before we wave a fond farewell to our wonderful time at Eaton Vale.

What a brilliant first day! Today, the pupils have had the chance to experience Orienteering, Canoeing, Abseiling and Archery.  All of the pupils have loved canoeing (especially jumping in at the end!) The sun has been shining and lots of the pupils have had a go at some activities which they haven't experienced before.  Some of the group  have been extremely proud to climb up to the top of the 10 metre tower and then abseil down, some were even braver and bounced their way down. For dinner we had Chicken pasta bake, garlic bread and salad and for dessert a delicious chocolate cake with ice-cream! We are going to finish the evening with some team games on the field. I will update you with our second day of activities tomorrow.
